Bass and Guitarist Ed Moon\, played for many years in his native Nashville before moving to NC. He has played with a variety of musicians including ZZ Hill. Organist Sam Obie has played Blues\, Jazz\, and Gospel for decades. Including working as a musical Director for Gospel Legend Shirley Ceasar. Guitarist\, Bassist and Songwriter Charlley Ward has played Blues\, R&B and Pop since 1970. His Band\, The Bull City Blues Band\, reached the semifinals of the international Blues Challenge twice. The group is rounded out by Drummer Lorry Taylor\, acknowledged as one of the best drummers in the state of North Carolina.\nThe members of the group are united in their love of Blues music and dance. They are excited to play for Embrace The Blues!\nVenue: The Old Murphey School offers a nostalgic charm that puts you at ease when you walk through the door.
