Let’s celebrate … you! The Triangle Blues Society’s Member Appreciation Party is set for Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at Blue Note Grill. Our host band, Fabulous Nite-Life Boogie, will get you groovin’ – and there will be complimentary food! Please bring an unwrapped toy for our Toys for Tots box.
TOYS FOR TOTS: Deliver hope to children this holiday season! Triangle Blues Society and Blue Note Grill are once again inviting everyone in the area to help us fill the Toys for Tots toy box.
Toys can be donated by dropping them off during regular business hours at 709 Washington St., Durham, N.C., 27701: From 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, or noon to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
What to Bring: New, unwrapped toys for a child ages newborn through 16. Popular and appropriate toy categories include stuffed animals, dolls, sporting equipment (like bags and balls), books, backpacks, board games, radio-controlled cars/trucks, hand-held electronics, and skateboards/helmets. Imagine you’re buying for your own children, nieces, nephews or grandchildren.
What NOT to Bring: No food, or toys that look like realistic weapons. If donated, such items will NOT be distributed.
Let’s all chip in to help make the holidays brighter for children in the Triangle.
THEN … THE ROAD TO MEMPHIS!
The 41st International Blues Challenge is set for Jan. 13-17, 2026, in Memphis. Before then, the Triangle Blues Society will hold a stand-alone benefit event to help fund the trip for our Triangle Blues Challenge winners, MAMA and Charlley Ward/Joel Keel. The Road to Memphis fundraiser will be held on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026. You can help! We’re looking for silent auction items to help raise funds. Contact Terri Robbins at datapros1@gmail.com if you would like to donate a gift card, service or other items.
CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS: The Triangle Blues Society is now accepting corporate sponsorships. If you or your company is willing to donate, please contact Bill Stat at bestat@aol.com.
